GERMAN DUAL EDUCATION PROGRAM
RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- The German Dual Education (Study & Work) Program is a German educational system and is basically a vocational and technical education program.
- German-style dual training courses are greatly admired internationally and are a top export. The combination of theory and practical professional work they offer gets students off to a quick career start.
- This program targets the High-School Diploma holders (graduates) and above.
- This program provides an opportunity to the candidate to study 2 days/week and work 3 days/week in a related job, allowing the candidate to earn a minimum monthly salary of €1,000-€1,200 during studies.
- This program is formed of the following phases:
- German Language training program to achieve B1-level certificate in the home country as the main pre-requisite.
- Joining the Dual Education Program of vocational and technical studies for 1 or 2 or 3 years, depending on the selected major of study, in one of our German Partner’s 22 vocational and technical schools across Germany.
- Guaranteed permanent job upon successful completion of the program.
The German Dual Education Program (study & work) has a wide range of majors of study including but not limited to the below:

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
The recruitment process is formed of different phases, where each phase has it own approach and requirements, as follows:
ASSESSMENT
The selection process depends mainly on the candidate’s screening and assessment as follows:
- Candidate submits updated CV and signed undertaking statement to the local Delegate (agent).
- Local Delegate sends the above updated CV and signed undertaking to ASDAM
- Local Delegate pays to ASDAM the allocated Assessment fee being the non-refundable fee for CV assessment and feedback report
- CV Assessment duration with our German partner is 5-10 working days. The assessment result is one of the following:
- Not Eligible, candidate’s file is closed
- Eligible, Candidate proceeds for the registration phase with ASDAM.
REGISTRATION
A candidate who is already B1-level certified in German Language:
- Completes the Application form provided by the local Delegate.
- Submits the application and the required documents to the local Delegate.
- Local Delegate performs qualify check on all documents received from the candidate.
- Local Delegate sends checked documents to ASDAM.
- Local Delegate pays to ASDAM the allocated fee being the non-refundable registration, administration and processing fees.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
- Candidate’s updated CV in English with photo signed and dated by the candidate.
- Candidate’s valid Passport copy
- B1-level German Language certificate, if already B1 certified.
- True copy of the candidate’s original (mother language) High-school Diploma and marks record.
- True copy of the candidate’s qualification (degree) and transcript(s) translated into German Language (in case they are not originally issued in English) and duly attested and stamped by the relevant authorities in the home country.
- A legal German Language translator
- Education authority in the country of origin
- Exterior Ministry in the country of origin.
- German Embassy or Consulate in country of origin.
- An undertaking written, dated and signed by the candidate stating that all provided information in the CV and the submitted documents are being legal, true and correct (Template will be provided by ASDAM)
- Motivation Letter written and signed by the candidate.(a sample will be provided by ASDAM)
DOCUMENTS QUALITY CONTROL
- ASDAM runs a thorough check and review (Quality Control) on the data, information and documents received from the Local Delegate in behalf of the candidate.
- The Quality Control must be performed within 5-10 working days of receiving the candidate’s required documents from Local Delegate.
GERMAN LANGUAGE TRAINING PROGRAM
A candidate who is not already certified in German Language, needs to join German Language Training Program to achieve B1-level. In order to make it as smooth as possible, ASDAM offers three different options for the candidate to select whatever suits him/her best provided that the candidate:
- Passes the Selection Process
- Completes the registration, and
- Pays the relevant fees.

QUALIFICATIONS EQUIVALENCY PROCESS
Qualification Equivalency process can be initiated by ASDAM in parallel with the candidate’s German Language Training Program for the purpose of time saving and should be finalized in 4-8 weeks time.
- The Equivalency result will be one of the below:
- Approved
- The candidate will be eligible for a contract called “Ausbildung Verbunden Vertrag” (Training Associated Contract), that will be processed by the German Agency.
- The candidate’s salary, upon graduation, will be rectified according to the German Labor law to earn a monthly salary between €2,700 – €5,000
- The Candidate will be eligible to continue further education (BSc and above), during his work in coordination with his/her employer
- Not Approved
- The candidate will also be eligible for a contract called “Ausbildung Verbunden Vertrag” (Training Associated Contract) that will be processed by the German Agency
- The candidate’s salary, upon graduation, will be rectified according to the German Labor law to earn a monthly salary less than those who are approved.
- The Candidate will not be eligible to continue further education (BSc and above).
Remark: The candidate can always study and finish the high-school diploma in Germany, which put him on the same level of those who are Approved High-School Diploma Equivalency candidates.
GERMAN VISA PROCESS
The candidate must ensure that s/he has maintained in hand the following documents prior to setting the appointment at the Embassy or Consulate for submitting the visa application:
- The German Language Participation Certificate for levels A1 and A2 issued from the German Language Training Program provider.
- The German Language test Certificate for the required level (B1).
- The official contract “Ausbildung Verbunden Vertrag” (Training Associated Contract) issued by the German agency.
- The candidate’s High-School Diploma Equivalency Certificate issued from the German Authority (Central Office For Foreign Qualifications “ZAB”)
- The candidate must ensure that s/he has in hand the supporting documents required by the German Embassy or Consulate in the home country.
Then,
- The local Agent prepares the candidate’s file and book an interview appointment at the German Embassy or Consulate in the home country.
- The candidate completes for the visa form
- Candidate applies for the Employment visa at the German Embassy/Consulate in the home country and pays the visa fees of approximately €75.
Important: It is extremely important to point out the fact that during the Employment Visa appointment, the candidate should expect that s/he will be interviewed or communicated with in German language in order to insure that the candidate’s language skills and certificate is being true, genuine and legitimate.
TRAVELING AND RELOCATION SERVICES
The relocation services is optional and will be offered based on the candidate’s request, approval and payment of the service cost of €250-€450 depending on the province. The relocation/upon arrival services provided by the German Agency usually are:
- Receives the candidate at the designated town main station/airport
- Places the candidate at the school’s accommodation.
- Introduces the candidate to the school.
- Opens a bank account for the candidate
- Registers the candidate with the Housing Authority
- Registers the candidate with the statutory health insurance
- Registers the candidate with the statutory pension insurance
- Assists the candidate to conclude the liability insurance policy
- Assists the candidate to extend the residence permit at the Foreigners’ Office
- Assists to sort out the candidate’s related official documents such as ID and others
AVERAGE SALARIES
The candidate’s salary and benefits are according to the German Labor law, polices and regulations. The average salaries in Germany for the university graduates’ jobs domain ranges between Euros 2,700 – 5,000 depending on the following factors:
- The German employer and province/city.
- The candidate’s major of studies and qualifications
- Candidate’s age
- The candidate’s qualifications equivalency certificate from the German Central Office for Foreign Qualifications (ZAB)
- Being single or married candidate
- A married candidate with kids (how many kids).
